I just wanted to add, that in the city hall there is tourist information center that all the tourists can use to get some info. Moreover, one can hire a tour guide or an english-speaking driver-tour guide - they take you to the most interesting places of the city and are more polite than the majority of taxi drivers and they speak good english.
